Our friends at Craft Republic have done it again.  Thursday saw the arrival of several new beers, as well as a restock of Evil Twin and Prairie’s collaboration stout Bible Belt.   The movement towards more breweries releasing beer in cans is really picking up steam…and this entire delivery is all cans!

Evil Twin has been cranking out New England style IPAs at a faster and faster rate.  All are available in 16oz cans, both as singles and 4pks. New arrivals of their foray into the hazy side of hops are in plentiful quantity and variety:

Diane, Never Drink IPA That Has Been Anywhere Far From Galaxy is a 9% ABV double dry-hopped imperial IPA with Galaxy hops.

The Flava Influencer IPA is 7.8% ABV and is brewed with oats and lactose as well as vanilla, pineapple and gooseberry puree.

Whereof One Cannot Speak, Thereof One Must Be Silent is another double dry-hopped NE-IPA with Galaxy, El Dorado and Topaz hops.

Race Day is a sour IPA with aloe salt and pineapple.  Yes, aloe salt.  Leave it to Evil Twin to bring out the weirdest adjuncts.   This one comes in at 6% ABV.

We have a couple other hoppy offerings as well, both from projects of 12% Importers.   12%’s portfolio is a large part of Craft Republic’s offerings, and includes new breweries Decadent and Fat Orange Cat.  From Fat Orange Cat, we’ve got cans of Launch.  This double IPA comes in at 8% ABV and features the signature low bitterness of New England IPAs, along with some nice soft citrus.  From Decadent, we’ve got restocks of Orange Creamsicle.  This double dry-hopped double IPA is brewed with toasted marshmallows, vanilla and orange zest!   Our final hoppy offering on this round comes from Omnipollo.  We carry their regular double IPA Fatamorgana, and now we have the QUADRUPLE dry-hopped version.  Clocking in at 8% ABV, this one also comes in 16oz cans.

We’ll finish this delivery with 3 new sours!  Stillwater Artisanal dropped a couple new ones.  Dust Rings is a collab with Union Brewing brewed to celebrate the 9th annual Baltimore Beer Week.   It is a 4.6% ABV dry-hopped sour ale brewed with lupulin powder.  The name alludes to the rings of Saturn, and is most certainly not brewed with actual Saturn-ring dust.  Action Bronson 7000 comes in at 4.5% ABV and is a dry-hopped sour brewed with Muscat grapes!  And continuing Stillwater’s series of musician/band collabs, the beer was indeed brewed in collaboration with Action Bronson.     Last, we have a GLUTEN FREE sour. I know, I was dubious too. But Glutenberg nailed it with their Gose.   This joins an already great line up from Glutenberg.  This beer is 3.5% ABV and comes in 16oz cans, 4pk and singles.

Don’t forget to check out the web specials for June before they end!  And if you pick up some of the new Evil Twin, don’t forget to check out the new branded Teku glasses we received from them recently!  Lots of great stuff on there as well. Thanks for reading, and for shopping with Mike’s.
